Agricultural Tech Sales Representative

The Chicago-based early-stage agricultural technology company is on a mission to reduce food waste. Shippers, growers, and retailers are always looking for new ways to ship food further, enter new markets, extend the growing season, and have less food rejected at the retail level. Hazel Technologies’ products address these needs by adding significant and measurable value throughout our customer’s food supply chains.

Hazel Technologies is searching for an Agricultural Tech Sales Representative to join our growing team as we expand internationally.

Position Description:

The Paris-based Agricultural Tech Sales Representative will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. This person will be responsible for customer relationship management and business development for our growing customer base in Europe and Africa. We are seeking dynamic, multilingual candidates with several years of experience in B2B agricultural, agricultural tech, fresh produce, or agronomy sales.


  • Manage EU, UK, and African customer relationships
  • Daily reporting and interaction with Salesforce CRM software
  • Travel to meet with key accounts
  • Product development support for new markets (e.g. running trials on new produce or in new regions)
  • Report to VP sales
  • Flawlessly communicate with outbound and inbound sales team members and customers
  • Aid in marketing activities as needed to develop market-specific collateral
  • Represent Hazel Tech at industry trade shows and any other similar events
  • Meet monthly goals and quarterly quotas
  • Develop new leads


  • Willingness to travel extensively (~50% of time) to EU, US, Africa
  • Previous Agricultural, Agricultural Tech, Fresh Produce, or Agronomy sales experience
  • Fluent in at least one of the following languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Afrikaans, Polish, Greek, or Arabic
  • Flawless native English communication skills
  • EU or UK citizen, or UK indefinite leave to remain


  • Extensive B2B sales experience with fresh food retail chains (>4 years)
  • Previous experience working in an international company, preferably an American one
  • Previous experience selling directly to growers and/or packers
  • Speaking more than one of the target languages (i.e. Spanish, French, Dutch, Polish, Italian, Greek, Arabic, or Afrikaans)
  • Willingness to work in or relocate to the Greater London Metropolitan Area
  • Experience working remotely
  • A history of sales success in any of the following territories: Spain, South Africa, Morocco, UK, The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Italy, or Egypt
